The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stated that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is yielding visible results, particularly in communities across the FCT.
Wike made the remark on Monday during the inauguration of the Karu Satellite Town Water Supply Network, one of the projects marking Tinubu’s third year in office.
According to the minister, the successful completion of the project was made possible by the President’s support and prompt release of funds provided in the 2025 national budget. He noted that Tinubu had directed the extension of key infrastructure projects beyond Abuja city centre to satellite towns and surrounding communities.
Addressing Vice President Kashim Shettima, who represented the President at the event, Wike said the water project was awarded in August 2025 and completed in less than a year, describing it as evidence of effective governance and commitment to improving living conditions.
He added that another water project in Bwari Area Council is scheduled for commissioning on July 14, stressing that access to water is as important as roads and other infrastructure.
Wike expressed confidence that residents of Karu and neighbouring communities would appreciate the benefits of the project, insisting that the Renewed Hope Agenda is making a tangible difference in the lives of Nigerians.
