Popular TikTok personality, Cindy of Oshodi, has issued an apology after a private video involving her surfaced online.
Reports indicate that the clip, which allegedly appeared on an adult website, has sparked widespread reactions across social media platforms. While some users criticised her, others called for understanding and empathy.
In a video shared on her TikTok page, Cindy explained that the footage dates back to around 2019 or 2020, describing that period as a challenging phase in her life.
She expressed regret over the incident, stating that her apology was mainly directed at supporters who have continued to stand by her despite the controversy. She acknowledged that some fans may feel disappointed, but accepted responsibility for her past actions.
Cindy also revealed that she was financially struggling at the time the video was recorded, adding that her circumstances then were very different from her current situation.
The development comes shortly after another social media figure, Eniola Fagbemi, also publicly apologised following the leak of a private video involving her.
