A trending video circulating on social media has captured APC House of Representatives aspirant for Etsako Federal Constituency, Blessing Agbomhere, assisting elderly women in frying garri in Edo State.
In the now-viral clip, Agbomhere was seen joining the women during the local garri processing activity, interacting freely with them while helping to stir and fry the cassava product.
The video has sparked reactions online, with many social media users praising the politician for identifying with grassroots women and participating in their daily economic activities.
Some supporters described the gesture as a sign of humility and connection with ordinary people, while others viewed it as part of ongoing political outreach ahead of future elections.
Garri processing remains one of the common local businesses in many rural communities across Nigeria, especially among women who rely on it as a source of livelihood.
As the video continues to gain attention online, residents and supporters have continued to share mixed reactions over the display, with many commending the interaction between the politician and the elderly women.
