Nigerian music executive and businessman, Soso Soberekon, has reportedly offered Peter Okoye of the former P-Square duo ₦500 million to take on his twin brother, Paul Okoye, in a celebrity boxing match.
Soberekon made the offer during Peter’s performance on Sunday night.
A viral video circulating on social media showed Soberekon in the audience holding up his phone to Peter while he performed on stage.
The message displayed on the phone read: “₦500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
The unusual offer comes amid the long-running financial dispute between Peter and his twin brother, Paul.
The disagreement between the former P-Square members intensified after Peter accused Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of allegedly diverting music royalties.
The proposed boxing match has since attracted attention online, with the ₦500 million offer adding a new twist to the brothers’ ongoing public dispute.
