SNOW TV NEWS In a recently revised roster issued , by the All Progressives Congress (APC) on October 13, 2026, Comrade Dan Obo Jnr. one of the key Special Adviser to the Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu was named as a member of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council.
As the ruling party intensifies early logistics for the upcoming presidential race, this fresh council structure aims to streamline nationwide stakeholder engagement, grassroots mobilisation, and political coordination. Political analysts view the addition of Obo Jnr. as a deliberate move by the APC leadership to deepen its campaign footprint within the South-South region.
His allies have celebrated the appointment, noting that it positions Cross River State at the forefront of the national campaign apparatus. The alliance is expected to foster stronger political synergy between local state actors and federal campaign executors.
Me While President Tinubu retains the supreme leadership of the campaign machine alongside several high-profile national stalwarts, specific portfolio assignments remain fluid. Insiders note that while Obo Jnr.’s inclusion is confirmed, his exact administrative designation within the council should be cross-referenced with the final, certified gazette from the party’s national secretariat before official state deployment.
