
Ugandan model and social media influencer Kisitu Kirabo has publicly addressed the circulation of her private videos online, describing the incident as a painful violation of her privacy.
In a statement released after the videos surfaced on social media, Kirabo explained that the recordings were made in a private setting and were never intended for public viewing. She said the unauthorized distribution of the content has caused her considerable emotional distress, embarrassment, and psychological hardship.
According to the model, the incident has not only affected her personally but has also impacted her family, friends, and supporters, many of whom have expressed concern and solidarity since the videos began circulating online.
Kirabo expressed regret over the situation and acknowledged the consequences arising from the incident. She disclosed that she is working with relevant authorities to investigate the leak and identify those responsible for sharing the private content without her consent.
The social media personality also appealed to the public to refrain from forwarding, reposting, or distributing the videos, stressing the need to respect individuals’ privacy and dignity.
She reiterated that the recordings were created in a private environment and were never meant for public consumption, urging internet users not to contribute to their continued spread.
Kirabo remains one of Uganda’s most recognizable models and online personalities, having built a significant following through her work in the fashion and entertainment industries.
