Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has opened up about her readiness for marriage, stressing that good character, especially kindness, matters more to her than wealth or social status.
Speaking in an honest chat with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the actress revealed that kindness is a core quality she looks for in a potential life partner and is not something she is willing to compromise on.
Isime explained that she would rather marry a kind man, regardless of his status or shortcomings, noting that other issues can be improved with time, but character cannot be faked.
The actress, who disclosed that she is now 34, said she feels prepared for marriage and understands the importance of making the right choice.
“I am of marriage age. I’m 34. Yes, I’m attractive and men may desire me, but I have to be intentional about what I choose to settle with,” she said.
“Kindness is very important to me. I find it extremely attractive. Before you can even be my friend, let alone my partner, you must be genuinely kind—not just for show. Once kindness is there, every other thing can be worked on.”
