Nigerian model and media personality Denrele Edun has opened up about his love life and sexuality, admitting that he has struggled to find lasting love.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Moraya Show, Edun said he has often given his all in relationships but rarely received the same level of commitment in return.
According to him, people who have a lot of love to offer frequently end up being the ones who do not get it back. As a result, he said he has learned to find love in different places and has now chosen to focus on loving himself.
Edun explained that many of his emotional connections did not turn out as he had hoped, leading him to the realisation that self-love is currently the best option for him.
He maintained that he is not responsible for the challenges he has faced in relationships, describing himself as someone who is easy to love and full of affection.
The media personality added that in his recent relationship experiences, his efforts were often met with excuses. While he offered clarity and commitment, his partners responded with uncertainty and failed to reciprocate, making the relationships feel one-sided.
Denrele also addressed his sexuality, stating that he has experienced “the best of both worlds.”
