Popular Nollywood actress Aunty Ajara has reportedly been hospitalised in critical condition due to an undisclosed illness.
According to Naija News, the update was shared by her colleague, Wunmi Toriola, via an Instagram post on Wednesday. Wunmi posted a video showing Aunty Ajara on a hospital bed and disclosed that her condition has worsened despite ongoing medical treatment.
She explained that significant funds have already been spent on Ajara’s care, with support coming from fellow celebrities, actors, and kind-hearted individuals. However, despite these efforts, the actress’s health continues to deteriorate.
Wunmi Toriola has now appealed to Nigerians for additional financial assistance to help sustain Aunty Ajara’s treatment.
In her words, she expressed deep emotional pain over making the appeal, noting that many people have already contributed. She emphasized that Ajara urgently needs more support, stressing that any form of help—financial contributions or sharing the appeal—could make a meaningful difference.
She concluded by calling on the public to help save a life and thanked everyone for their support and prayers.
