Fulham have officially announced the signing of Norwegian winger Oscar Bobb from Manchester City, securing his services until the summer of 2031.
The 22-year-old has joined the West London side on a five-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Bobb, who has already enjoyed Premier League and Club World Cup success with City, will wear the number 14 shirt at Craven Cottage.
Speaking after completing the move, Bobb shared his excitement about starting a new chapter with Fulham.
“It feels amazing to be here. I had a great first day meeting everyone and I’m really excited,” he said.
“I’ve always seen Fulham as a strong club with quality players and a fantastic stadium. I spoke with my good friend Sander and also had discussions with the manager, who explained the system, the squad and the club’s vision. He came across really well, so it was an easy decision.”
Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan also expressed his delight at the signing, praising Bobb’s potential contribution.
“I’m delighted to welcome Oscar Bobb to Fulham,” Khan said. “He’s a talented young player who is eager to play for the club as we look to build on our positive momentum in the second half of the season and prepare for an exciting future. Welcome, Oscar—come on Fulham!”
Bobb is highly rated for his technical ability and creativity, known for his close control, smart movement and chance creation. Primarily a right winger who cuts inside onto his stronger left foot, he is also capable of playing on either flank or in a central attacking role.
The Norway international began his career in the Vålerenga academy before joining Manchester City’s youth setup shortly after turning 16.
He made his senior debut in the Premier League during the 2023/24 season against Fulham at the Etihad Stadium, a breakthrough campaign in which he featured 26 times across all competitions as City won both the league title and the Club World Cup.
One of his most memorable moments came against Newcastle United at St James’ Park, where he scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner following a clever assist from Kevin De Bruyne. The strike later earned him the Premier League Goal of the Month award.
Bobb also delivered a Man of the Match performance in the Community Shield at Wembley, registering an assist against Manchester United. Although a broken leg in training sidelined him until April, he still made 15 appearances in all competitions this season before completing his move to Fulham.
