Nollywood actress, Mama No Network, has raised an urgent alarm over the health condition of her colleague, Aunty Ajara, who is currently pregnant and critically ill.
Naija News reports that the appeal was made on Friday, January 31, 2026, via a video shared on Instagram, where Mama No Network revealed that Ajara’s condition has deteriorated significantly and requires immediate intervention.
She stressed that the plea was not for online attention but a genuine emergency, noting that time is no longer on Ajara’s side.
According to her, Ajara urgently needs prayers and financial assistance to cope with the serious health challenge she is facing.
Mama No Network explained that she rarely comes forward to seek help publicly but was compelled to speak out because of her concern and affection for Ajara.
She described Ajara as humble, respectful and kind-hearted, adding that she is always grateful for any form of support she receives.
She further disclosed that Ajara spends most of her earnings taking care of her mother, who is battling the effects of a stroke.
Clarifying misconceptions, Mama No Network said Ajara is neither lazy nor unemployed, but her worsening health has severely affected her ability to work.
She also revealed that Ajara is pregnant, noting that the pregnancy was discovered late after her condition worsened.
According to her, she advised Ajara in December to seek proper medical attention rather than rely on self-medication at home.
It was during a hospital visit that doctors confirmed the pregnancy and later diagnosed her with a liver-related illness, which was initially mistaken for pregnancy complications.
Mama No Network added that despite her fragile state, Ajara had been moving from place to place, a situation that may have further worsened her condition.
She appealed to the public not to overlook the situation, stating that any medication or treatment prescribed by doctors to help ease Ajara’s pain would be welcomed.
Calling on Nigerians to rally around Ajara, she urged collective support during the challenging period.
In her words:
“Good day, everyone. I sincerely appeal to the public concerning Ajara. Many times, we ask why we post more ‘RIP’ messages instead of celebrating and supporting ourselves while alive. Please, for God’s sake, Ajara is currently in a critical condition.
“This is not content. This is real life. Time is not on her side, and we urgently need your support, both financially and through prayers. I rarely do this, but Ajara is someone I truly care about. She is very respectful and accommodating.
“No matter how little you give her, she is never ungrateful. She always says she is taking it home to her mother, who is a stroke patient. Ajara uses everything she earns to care for her mother. It’s not that she doesn’t work, but her health has made things very difficult.
“Ajara is also pregnant. We didn’t find out early until her condition became worse. I advised her in December to go to the hospital instead of treating herself. That was when we discovered the pregnancy, and later the doctors confirmed it was a liver disease, not just pregnancy-related issues.
“Despite everything, she has been travelling around. Please, let us not fold our arms. This is not content. We will also accept any drug prescribed by doctors to help reduce her pain.
“We sincerely beg Nigerians to come to her aid. Thank you.”
