Bukayo Saka has reached an agreement with Arsenal on a new long-term contract that will make the 24-year-old one of the club’s top earners.
The deal is part of Arsenal’s broader strategy to tie down key members of the squad, following recent contract extensions for William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Saka’s previous contract was set to run until June 2027, but the improved agreement will see him remain at the Emirates Stadium until 2031.
The England international has grown into a key figure at his boyhood club under manager Mikel Arteta, having logged more playing time than any other Arsenal player since the Spaniard took over in 2019.
Overall, Saka has featured 290 times for the Gunners, scoring 77 goals. In the current campaign, he has scored seven goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
He has played a crucial role in Arsenal’s recent title pushes, most notably during the 2023/24 season when he tallied 20 goals and 14 assists as the club finished just two points behind Manchester City in the Premier League. Last season, despite spending three months sidelined with a hamstring injury that required surgery in December 2024, Saka still managed 12 goals and 13 assists in 37 matches.
This season, he has continued to influence Arsenal’s attack, recording seven goals and six assists in 27 games.
