Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad have reportedly submitted a €10.5 million bid to sign Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from Turkish side Beşiktaş.
According to reports from Turkish outlet Milliyet, the offer could rise to €12.5 million through performance-related bonuses, as Al-Ittihad intensify efforts to secure the Super Eagles star ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Saudi club’s approach follows Beşiktaş’s reported rejection of an earlier bid from fellow Saudi outfit Al Diriyah during the ongoing transfer window. Ndidi has reportedly been identified as one of Al-Ittihad’s top transfer targets as they seek to bolster their midfield.
The 29-year-old joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City in August 2025 on a three-year contract running until June 2028, with an option for an additional year. Since arriving in Turkey, he has become a key figure for the club and was named vice-captain in October 2025.
Ndidi has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Beşiktaş, scoring two goals and providing one assist. In the 2025/26 Turkish Super Lig campaign, he featured in 25 league matches and found the net twice.
Despite the interest, Beşiktaş are reportedly unwilling to let the midfielder leave unless their valuation is met. While Al-Ittihad’s bid is believed to be close to the club’s asking price, no agreement has yet been reached between the two sides.
Ndidi has continued to attract interest from clubs across the Middle East during the current transfer window, with Al-Ittihad now emerging as the latest contender for the Nigerian international’s signature.
