An astrologer, Christina, has predicted that Argentina will emerge victorious over Spain in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to her, Lionel Messi and the reigning world champions appear to be favoured by current astrological transits ahead of the highly anticipated showdown with Spain.
Argentina and Spain are scheduled to face off at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, July 19, in what is expected to be one of the biggest World Cup finals in recent history.
Speaking to CBS Sports ahead of the match, Christina analysed the astrological charts of both finalists and shared her outlook on the encounter.
Commenting on Messi’s performances throughout the tournament, she said the Argentine captain appears highly motivated.
“I believe Messi’s transit indicates that he is driven… driven, driven, driven,” she said.
Turning to Spain, Christina described La Roja as a disciplined and hardworking side based on their astrological profile.
“Spain is intriguing because they have four planets in Virgo, which is a sign characterized by hard work, organization, and a tendency to excel through consistent effort. This is a very industrious team that values being grounded and having a strategic plan,” she explained.
She also pointed out similarities between both teams, noting that they share comparable astrological characteristics.
According to Christina, both Argentina and Spain have Sagittarius rising and share nodes of fate in Scorpio and Taurus, suggesting they were destined to meet at this stage of the competition.
When asked to predict the winner, she admitted the decision was difficult but maintained that Argentina currently holds the edge.
“This is a challenging question to answer, but I genuinely feel that Argentina appears to be empowered by the transits at this moment,” she said.
Argentina and Spain last met at the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England, where the South Americans claimed a 2-1 victory during the group stage. Football fans will now be eager to see whether history repeats itself in Sunday’s final.
