BREAKING : APC Governors Forum Divided As Uzodimma, Abiodun Lead Separate Camps

The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) has reportedly split into rival factions following an internal leadership crisis within the group.

The division reportedly emerged after claims surfaced on Thursday that the forum’s chairman, Hope Uzodimma, had been removed from his position.

Despite the reports, Uzodimma has maintained that he remains the authentic chairman of the PGF.

Meanwhile, Dapo Abiodun and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq are said to be leading a separate faction within the forum.

Reports indicate that another bloc of governors within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has also aligned with the Abiodun-AbdulRazaq camp.

The development is seen as a major sign of internal cracks within the ruling party as political alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to intensify.

According to reports, the exact cause of the disagreement remains unclear, although party insiders claim tensions had been mounting over leadership control and strategic political positioning ahead of the next election cycle.

As of the time of filing this report, none of the factions had officially issued a detailed statement explaining the reason behind the split.
