BRAKING : Senator Ningi Dumps PDP After 28 Years
Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, who represents Bauchi Central Senatorial District, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after spending about 28 years in the party.
According to reports, Ningi conveyed his decision in a resignation letter addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ningi Ward in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The senator explained that his decision came after extensive consultations with political stakeholders, loyalists, friends and supporters. Having joined the PDP in 1998, Ningi noted that he had dedicated over two decades to the party.
During his time in the PDP, he served two terms in the House of Representatives and also completed two terms as senator under the party’s platform.
