Face Opposition Without Violence, Rhodes-Vivour Challenges APC Ahead Of Lagos Elections
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has challenged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure peaceful and violence-free elections in the state.
Speaking during an interview on News Central Television, Rhodes-Vivour urged the ruling party to avoid intimidation and political violence if it truly enjoys the support of the people.
He argued that the APC’s long-standing control of Lagos politics is increasingly being questioned by residents, adding that insecurity and economic hardship have continued to affect public confidence in the government.
Rhodes-Vivour also criticised President Bola Tinubu, accusing his administration of favouring a small group of loyalists while neglecting the wider population.
