Set Aside Differences, Work With Wike – Lamido Urges PDP Stakeholders
Former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido, has called on key stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to put aside their disagreements and support the caretaker leadership reportedly backed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Lamido made the appeal during a Ramadan breakfast he hosted for PDP members in his hometown of Namadi in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area.
According to him, backing the caretaker committee is the only realistic option left to prevent the party from sliding into total collapse. He described the committee as the only remaining legitimate structure within the party.
