I Won’t Tell My Partner My Salary, And I Don’t Need To Know His – Nancy Isime

Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has opened up about her views on finances in relationships, stating that she prefers to keep income matters private.

Speaking during a podcast interview with media personality Prince Ita, Isime said she does not believe couples must disclose their earnings to one another.

According to the actress, discussions about personal income are off-limits for her, as she sees no reason to tell a partner how much she earns. Likewise, she is not interested in knowing how much her partner makes.

She explained that she values personal boundaries and believes certain aspects of life should remain private, even within a relationship.

Beyond finances, Isime also revealed that she has little interest in checking a partner’s phone, noting that trust is important and that she would never request access to her man’s private conversations.

Reflecting on her younger years, the actress said she was more focused on achieving financial independence and building a successful career than fantasizing about marriage.

She disclosed that while many young women dream about their wedding day, her aspirations were centered on working hard, earning her own money, and becoming self-reliant.

Speaking on marriage, Isime said she does not have a fixed vision of a dream wedding and would be comfortable with either a large or simple ceremony, depending on what she and her future partner mutually decide.

According to her, the most important thing is reaching an agreement that suits both partners rather than trying to meet a particular expectation of what a wedding should look like.
