The Senior Pastor of Johnson Suleman, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has declared that he will not comment on the country’s worsening insecurity situation.
Suleman made the statement while responding to critics who have faulted Enoch Adeboye for allegedly remaining silent on insecurity under the administration of Bola Tinubu.
Speaking in a video shared on social media, the cleric explained that Pastor Adeboye did not personally lead protests during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. According to him, the prayer walk held at the time was initiated by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and involved pastors and Christian leaders.
Suleman questioned why Nigerians expect the 84-year-old RCCG leader to take to the streets in protest over the country’s security challenges. He maintained that, as one of Adeboye’s spiritual sons, he would follow his mentor’s example.
He said critics were wrong to claim Adeboye protested during Jonathan’s tenure, insisting that the prayer walk was a collective decision by the PFN rather than a personal protest by the revered cleric.
