Fresh from their historic UEFA Champions League victory, Paris Saint-Germain have dominated UEFA’s official 2025/26 Team of the Season, with five players earning spots in the prestigious XI.
The team was selected by UEFA’s Technical Observer Group and heavily reflects PSG’s successful European campaign, with the newly crowned champions contributing nearly half of the players chosen.
Among those included are winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and midfielder Vitinha, who was named Player of the Match in the Champions League final. They are joined by PSG captain Marquinhos, defender Nuno Mendes, and forward Ousmane Dembélé.
Arsenal recorded the second-highest representation in the team, with three players recognised following their impressive run to the final. Goalkeeper David Raya was selected in goal, while defender Gabriel Magalhães and midfielder Declan Rice also made the cut.
German champions Bayern Munich contributed two representatives, with midfielder Michael Olise and striker Harry Kane earning places in the elite lineup.
The final position in the XI went to Marcos Llorente of Atlético de Madrid.
Among the notable omissions were Lamine Yamal, who impressed throughout Barcelona’s European campaign, and tournament top scorer Kylian Mbappé, both of whom failed to secure places in the final selection.
