
The Osun State Government, in partnership with the Imole Youth Campaign Committee, has announced a Free Show of Solidarity to promote peaceful, free and credible elections ahead of the 2026 governorship poll.
The event, themed “Vote, Not Fight,” aims to encourage residents, particularly young people, to reject electoral violence, embrace peaceful democratic participation and uphold the value of every vote before, during and after the election.

The Chairman of the Imole Youth Campaign Committee, Hon. David Adedeji Adeleke (Davido), is expected to attend alongside government officials, political leaders, youth groups, entertainers and supporters to advocate for peaceful, free, fair and credible elections.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the rally and demonstrate their commitment to a peaceful electoral process, reinforcing the message that Osun votes with ballots, not violence.
