Ne-Yo Faces Lawsuit Over Alleged Dog Attack at Georgia Home

American singer Ne-Yo is facing a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleges that she was injured after being bitten by the musician’s dog while delivering a package to his home in Georgia.

According to the lawsuit, Dominique Bridgett was making a delivery to Ne-Yo’s residence in Alpharetta, Georgia, in July 2025 when she was allegedly attacked by the singer’s dog.

Bridgett claims the animal was not properly restrained at the time of the incident. She also alleges that the dog had previously displayed aggressive behaviour towards people.

The woman says the incident resulted in physical injuries, pain and emotional distress. She further claims that she has incurred more than $9,000 in medical expenses following the alleged attack.

The lawsuit was filed in Fulton County Court in June. Bridgett is accusing Ne-Yo of negligence and is seeking damages, although the amount being requested has not been publicly specified.

Ne-Yo has not publicly addressed the allegations, and his representative has reportedly not issued a statement regarding the lawsuit.

Case Draws Attention Amid Similar Lawsuit

The lawsuit involving Ne-Yo comes shortly after fellow American singer Chris Brown was ordered to pay nearly $13 million in a separate case involving an alleged dog attack on a housekeeper.

The two cases are separate legal matters, and the allegations against Ne-Yo have not been established in court.

As the case proceeds, the court will have the opportunity to consider the claims made by the plaintiff and any response or defence presented by Ne-Yo and his legal team.

Ne-Yo remains presumed not liable unless and until the allegations are established through the legal process.
