Manchester United head coach, Michael Carrick, has hinted that Marcus Rashord may have a future at Old Trafford.
Carrick believes Rashford offers something “a bit different” to his other options.
He was speaking to ITV Sport after United’s penalty shoot-out friendly win over Leeds at Croke Park.
According to Carrick, the 28-year-old missed out on the game, having only returned to training earlier this week.
Carrick said: “He’s our player. He’s come back great, like any other player. I’ve known him a long time, he gives us something a bit different.
“He’s been in great spirits since he’s been back, he’s been back two or three days.”
