Kun Khalifat FC captain, Onuoha Uchechukwu, has called on his teammates to remain calm and focused as they prepare for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 11 encounter against Enyimba.
The Owerri-based side will travel to Aba on Sunday to face the former Nigerian champions in what promises to be a challenging fixture.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Uchechukwu stressed the importance of maintaining focus and avoiding unnecessary pressure as the team continues its league campaign.
“We’re taking it one game at a time and not putting ourselves under pressure,” he told the club’s media.
“In a situation like this, it’s important to remain calm and focus more on ourselves,” the captain added.
Kun Khalifat heads into the encounter on the back of an impressive three-game unbeaten run and will be hoping to extend their positive form against their more experienced opponents.
The newcomers will be eager to maintain their momentum and secure a positive result against Enyimba on their home ground.

Uchechukwu’s call for calm reflects the importance of mental strength and discipline as Kun Khalifat navigates the demands of the NPFL. Facing an established club like Enyimba in Aba will undoubtedly test their confidence, tactical organization, and resilience.
Their three-game unbeaten run provides encouragement, but maintaining that consistency will require more than confidence alone. The players must remain focused, avoid costly mistakes, and take their opportunities when they arise.
For Kun Khalifat, a positive result against Enyimba would represent another significant step in establishing themselves as competitive contenders in the league. Ultimately, composure and teamwork could prove decisive in this encounter.
