Big Brother Naija star Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has addressed the recent speculation linking her romantically to content creator Kolu.
The rumors began after several livestreams on platforms like Twitch, where Phyna and Kolu engaged in playful interactions, including teasing conversations, holding arms, and even forehead kisses. Fans quickly noticed these moments, fueling online chatter about a possible romance.
Phyna, however, clarified that their interactions were purely for entertainment. She emphasized that she has asked Kolu to maintain boundaries, and any future appearances together would strictly be as friends.
Speaking on the matter, she said:
“I have told Kolu to stay away from me, so when next you see us together, it only means he has agreed to be friends. If Kolu is with Carter Efe, he should behave well, so I decided to show him love from my end.”
The speculation intensified after Nigerian streamer Carter Efe joked during a livestream about Phyna and Kolu being in a relationship. He also claimed that Kolu bought a new car for Phyna, though Kolu later explained that the purchase was related to a personal heartbreak, not romance.
Phyna expressed surprise at the rumors, insisting that her time with Kolu was lighthearted and fun, not romantic.
