Former United States President Joe Biden is reportedly facing a worsening health condition, with his son, Hunter Biden, revealing that the cancer affecting him has spread to his bones.
Hunter made the disclosure during an interview with the BBC while discussing his father’s ongoing battle with the disease and its impact on the family.
According to Hunter, Biden’s condition has become increasingly difficult and painful to watch as the illness progresses. He said the cancer has spread beyond its original location to the bones and other parts of the body.
Hunter, Biden’s only surviving son, described the situation as particularly challenging for the family, citing the pain and weakness associated with the disease.
Despite his health struggles, Hunter portrayed his father as a devoted father, husband and grandfather who remains a central figure in the family.
Biden first announced his cancer diagnosis in May 2025, about four months after leaving the White House. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
The former president had previously said he was responding well to treatment and expressed gratitude to those who had prayed for him and offered their support.
Biden had also maintained an optimistic outlook about his treatment, saying his doctors expected the medication to help manage the disease.
