A jury has delivered a verdict in a lawsuit involving Ye, ruling in favour of a former employee who accused the artist of unpaid wages and unsafe working conditions. The case was brought by Tony Saxton, who worked on Ye’s former Malibu property. Following deliberations, the jury ordered Ye to pay $140,000 in compensation for medical expenses and lost wages. The amount awarded was significantly lower than the $1.7 million Saxton had originally sought in damages. Doja Cat has criticised comments made by Timothee Chalamet about opera and ballet, joining a growing number of voices defending the classical art forms.  The hip-hop star posted a video on TikTok responding to the controversy, noting that opera and ballet have existed for centuries. She pointed out that opera is more than 400 years old while ballet dates back roughly 500 years. A woman was taken into custody Sunday, March 8, after allegedly firing multiple shots at singer Rihanna’s residence in Beverly Crest. The incident occurred around 1:21 p.m. at a home on the 9500 block of Heather Road. Police said an unidentified woman drove to the property and discharged several rounds. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that the suspect fired between seven and nine rounds from an AR-15-style rifle, with four rounds striking the house.
