Kemi Filani reported last week family of the late actress had announced her burial arrangements. The family disclosed that a Service of Songs will be held on January 8, followed closely by a Candlelight procession. Kemi Filani reported in December that the power couple, in a video posted on their YouTube page, announced they were expecting their second child. In the clips, Simi was captured showing off her protruding baby bump alongside her husband and their daughter, Deja. On his Snapchat page, Adekunle announced that he and his wife had welcomed twins. Mary J. Blige has scored a legal win after a New York court dismissed the lawsuit filed against her by longtime associate Misa Hylton. Court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop show that Blige and her legal team were granted a motion to dismiss the case Hylton filed in July 2025. The dismissal was issued “without prejudice,” meaning Hylton still has the option of pursuing sanctions or refiling the case. However, the development appears to signal the end of the dispute.
