FIFA Reveals Nominees For 2026 World Cup Goal Of The Tournament {FULL LIST}

FIFA has announced the full list of nominees for the Hyundai Goal of the Tournament award at the 2026 FIFA World Cup ahead of Sunday’s final between Argentina and Spain.

The latest six goals from the quarter-finals and semi-finals have completed the shortlist, with the overall winner set to be decided after the World Cup final.

On Saturday, FIFA confirmed that Julián Álvarez’s extra-time strike in Argentina’s 3-1 quarter-final victory over Switzerland was voted the best goal from the quarter-finals and semi-finals after receiving 37.2 per cent of the fan vote.

The Goal of the Tournament award has been determined in stages throughout the competition, with fans casting votes after the group stage, Round of 32, Round of 16, and the combined quarter-final and semi-final rounds.

The winners from each voting phase, along with other shortlisted goals, now make up the final list of contenders for the prestigious individual award, with the ultimate winner to be announced following the conclusion of the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain.
