Nigeria’s Falconets have been placed in Pot 2 for the draw of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The draw ceremony is scheduled to take place this Friday at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Łódź, Poland.
Joining Nigeria in Pot 2 are the USA, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand. The Falconets, who have maintained a consistent presence in the tournament’s history, secured their spot over the weekend as one of Africa’s four representatives in the expanded 24-team competition.
Head coach, Moses Aduku and Team Administrator Kelechi Omeke are expected to represent Nigeria at the ceremony. The tournament itself will be hosted across four Polish cities—Łódź, Katowice, Sosnowiec, and Bielsko-Biała—from September 5 to September 27, 2026.
