The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has shared pictures from his ongoing vacation after weeks of official engagements in Abuja.
Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, confirmed on Monday that the minister had proceeded on leave after commissioning several projects across the FCT as part of activities marking President Bola Tinubu’s third year in office.
Although Olayinka did not reveal Wike’s current location, he confirmed that the minister is taking time off to rest after an extensive period of official duties.
According to the aide, Wike spent more than 30 days commissioning completed projects, flagging off new developments and inspecting ongoing projects across the nation’s capital.
Olayinka also disclosed that additional projects are expected to be commissioned in December and January next year.
Sharing photos of the minister during his vacation, Olayinka described the break as “holiday time” for Wike, noting that the minister was taking a deserved rest after his recent busy schedule.
