‘I Act Like I’m Happy’ – Nancy Isime Reacts Amid Allegations of Marital Breakdown

Nigerian media personality and actress Nancy Isime has remained silent on allegations linking her to the collapse of the marriage between businessman Chinedu Nwobodo, owner of Circa Lagos, and his estranged wife.

According to reports, a UK-based Nigerian woman, Ify Okafor, accused Nancy Isime and former beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of being involved in the breakdown of her marriage to Nwobodo. Okafor, who hails from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State, made the claims in a detailed Facebook post, alleging that her former husband repeatedly cheated during their marriage.

She stated that some of the alleged affairs occurred while they were still legally and traditionally married, adding that the purported relationships caused her emotional pain, shame, and turmoil in her home.

Okafor further claimed that persistent infidelity, coupled with violence and emotional strain, gradually ruined the marriage and left her mentally and emotionally exhausted. She also alleged experiencing physical assault, emotional abuse, threats, and controlling behaviour, which she said made the relationship unsafe and unstable.

Despite the growing controversy on social media, Nancy Isime appeared unfazed. The actress took to Instagram to share photos from a vacation, marking her return after a brief absence from the platform.

In her post, Nancy hinted that while she appeared cheerful about being back online, she would rather step away from social media entirely, like her colleague Alex Ekubo.

“I act like I’m happy to be back, but deep down I want to pull a @alexxekubo on social media,” she wrote.
