Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has described her colleague Lizzy Anjorin as mentally unstable, saying she requires professional help.
Iyabo Ojo made the remarks while addressing fans amid repeated social media attacks from Lizzy and a recent allegation linking her to the death of rising singer Destiny Boy, according to Naija News.
During a TikTok live session, Iyabo urged her followers to ignore Lizzy’s outbursts, explaining that the actress has reportedly changed in personality over time. She also expressed disappointment that Lizzy’s husband has not taken steps to seek psychiatric care for his wife.
“She is not normal. She’s not the same Lizzy who used to dance and promote her products. I don’t know when this started, but the only thing I can do now is pray for her,” Iyabo said. “She mentions my name in every little thing. While she curses me, I am progressing, and my children are thriving. So why should I be angry? My fans should ignore her—she really needs help. It’s unfortunate that her husband isn’t educated enough to take her to a mental health facility, or maybe he doesn’t care.”
Iyabo added, “She claimed I cursed her child, but I never did. I don’t wish any harm on her child—God will bless and give the child wisdom. She drags me constantly because my name keeps her relevant. It’s 2026, and all I want to do is focus on my work. She’s delusional. If she doesn’t receive medical treatment, this behaviour won’t stop, and I truly feel sorry for her. She’s extremely stressed and needs help.”
