Nigerian actress and reality TV personality, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has responded strongly to critics condemning her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery.
In a post shared on Instagram, the reality star argued that many of those criticizing her simply lack the financial means to afford such procedures.
According to her, if her critics had enough money, they would likely make similar choices. She insisted that people’s views on cosmetic surgery are often influenced more by their financial situation than by personal beliefs.
Phyna added that with sufficient funds—such as having millions of naira at one’s disposal—many women would consider altering their bodies, stressing that financial freedom plays a major role in such decisions.
Her remarks have since sparked conversations online about wealth, personal choices, and the impact of financial capability on lifestyle decisions.
