The University of Calabar (UNICAL) is set to graduate 10,820 students during its 38th convocation ceremony, scheduled to run from April 2 to April 12, 2026. Vice Chancellor, Offiong Effanga Offiong, disclosed this during a pre-convocation press briefing, revealing that 52 students achieved first class honours, while some postgraduate students earned distinctions. According to him, the convocation will feature the award of first degrees, diplomas, certificates, postgraduate diplomas, master’s and doctoral degrees, alongside honorary recognitions. A girl who  vanished from a town in Arizona has been found alive 32 years after. Christina Marie Plante was reported missing from Star Valley in May 1994. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the remand of Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Linus Williams Ifejirika, widely known as Blord, at the Kuje Correctional Centre over allegations of impersonation involving social media critic, VeryDarkMan (VDM). Blord was remanded on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, following his arraignment on multiple charges before the court. According to reports, VDM shared a video on his Instagram page showing Blord being escorted from the court premises to the correctional facility. Ozonna Soludo has revealed that besides being a singer, he works as a chef. The son of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo took his followers through his process of getting ready for work. In a video shared on Instagram,  he is seen in just his underwear as he applied cream on his body and then deodorant.  He then wore his white chef uniform before adding warm clothes on top. The Big Flex singer was his usual playful self in the video. In the caption, he wrote: “Get ready for work with me.
