Manchester City Held by Everton in Six-Goal Thriller

Manchester City’s pursuit of the Premier League title suffered a setback after they were forced to a dramatic 3-3 draw against Everton on Monday night.

Pep Guardiola’s side went into the fixture trailing Arsenal by six points and looked set for a comfortable win when Jeremy Doku opened the scoring with a fine effort before halftime.

However, Everton came out stronger in the second half, turning the game around with three goals—two from Thierno Barry and another by Jake O’Neil.

City responded through Erling Haaland and Doku to salvage a point from the encounter.

The result leaves City five points behind Arsenal in the title race. Guardiola’s team will next face Brentford, while Arsenal prepare for a trip to West Ham as the battle for the top spot intensifies.
