Tinubu Needs More Time To Deliver – Felix Morka

The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Felix Morka, has appealed to Nigerians to allow President Bola Ahmed Tinubu more time to fulfill his promises to the country.

Morka made the appeal during an appearance on TVC News’ This Morning with Uncle Yori, where he defended the administration’s economic policies and reforms.

According to him, the Tinubu administration is focused on stabilising Nigeria’s economy at both the macro and micro-economic levels, insisting that the government’s policies are already yielding positive results.

He explained that investors now have greater confidence in Nigeria’s economy because exchange rate fluctuations have become more stable, adding that macro-economic stability is necessary before improvements can be fully felt in the daily lives of citizens.

Morka acknowledged concerns over the rising cost of living, including the price of food items like garri, but maintained that economic recovery is a gradual process that requires patience and consistency.

He stressed that economics is not driven by magic but by processes and policies that take time to produce long-term results, noting that President Tinubu is laying the right foundation for sustainable growth.

The APC spokesperson further stated that although there may be a gap between policy implementation and visible results, signs of improvement are already emerging and conditions would continue to get better with time.

Morka added that supporters of the president remain committed to his administration because they believe he has begun a positive transformation of the Nigerian economy.
